It was easy to assemble, maybe it’s a generational thing but pictures worked great for me. I don’t know how they could have explained the screws going into the different holes other than diagrams. I’m very bad in handyman stuff and impatient yet it was very easy, you do need patience since there is lots of screws but it is easy. They did forget to put instructions about the doors plastic panel and how to keep it in place, but w the pieces of plastic figured it out. And yes I was surprised it looked glazed lol and with air bubbles, so started peeling but then thought I had ruined it and that was supposed to be the look. I came back to the pics and realized it’s supposed to look clear so took out the panel again and peeled the film from the edges. Then it looked amazing. Not a fan of the gold knob. It isn’t very sturdy though, I hope it doesn’t fall on me. Your supposed to screw it to the wall but I don’t know how to feel about that. I might do it though because I plan to put books and ataúd it will fall on top of me.Easy enough to put together, looks great and holds a lot!Needed more ‘pantry’ storage in our kitchen in a home we are remodeling that has very little storage. Had an awkward little wall where this fit perfectly. Will change the knobs to match the rest of the kitchen, but very happy with the quality of the cabinet. Came packaged very well with no dents or dings. The instructions are all photos and I had to reverse my steps once or twice until I got it right, but it is sturdy and well built for the price. Thought the plexi doors were all damaged and scratched until I realized they were clear and came with a peel-off protector. ? overall very happy with this purchase!I bought several and made a wall unit. Very easy to assemble and quite solid once completed. Have a clean “science” cabinet look. I hated the gold knobs and swapped them with silver knobs from the hardware store in minutes.I use this for my fragrances and thought it would be perfect to house them inside to present them with more elegance. I brought this about a week ago and put it together relatively easy. It wasn’t hard at all. Every piece was good to assembly and then here comes the problem. The freaking door has these inch silver prongs with a spring attached that catches an open hole on the frame so the door can lock and open and close. One side is perfect but the other side has a broken spring that does bounce/spring. It goes down and therefore my door doesn’t stay on and every time I open it it falls toward me. The quality had potential until something so simple was poorly made. I give it 2 stars.AmeeeiiThis is the one product I didn’t read reviews for and paid for it in assembly. Instead of waiting for IKEA to restock the Billy case, I found this dupe. Like everyone said, assembly was difficult beyond reason - pieces were not labeled correctly, the instructions were a waste of paper and ink and there were pieces missing. Thank you to the one reviewer that suggested watching the videos because that was our saving grace. But even with the video, she had different pieces than what we had available. Is the bookshelf up? Barely. I will say, it’s cute and perfect size for my small DC row house office. But, one of the shelves was missing a hinge so you can only put light things on it. The door glass has a thick scratch on it. So yeah.It’s easy to put together and is sturdy. It’s a white metal cabinet and the doors have inserts to see items but it’s blurred, not clear like glass
